FOR CIRNECO DELL'ETNA

With reference to my asking for information on group placements for the breed, I had a reply from Pia Friman in Finland. Her dog Wiljo (C.I.B & FI & SE & DK & NO & NORD Ch, FinW-01, EuV-00, PLV-00, PZV-00 Giltedged Inclination), a Muusa litter brother and Yana’s uncle was BIG-1 and BIS-3 in Krakow International show (entry 2500) in 2001. Breed judge Jan Nesvabda, group Peter Harsanyi. Wiljo was the first BIS-placing Cirneco in an international show. Wow what an achievement. Yana herself (Multi Champion Giltedged Yana Anharbn) was group 3rd in Strasbourg.

Lucky del Brogo di Practica Anharbn attended two international shows last weekend. He won 2 x BOB & 2 x CACIB. The first was 19th Nov, Jyvaskyla Int, judge Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen (FI) and the second show was 20th Nov, judged by Tino Pehar (HR).

Here in UK at Sedgley & Gornal show at Stafford, under judge Mr Steve Hall, Jackie & Greg Brown's puppy, Anharbn Tangerine Dream at Nakarat, age six months and two days went Best Puppy Import Register over a truly well behaved lagotto puppy. Many congratulations to 'Geri' and of course Jackie & Greg.

Last show for 2012 is LKA, good luck to all who are attending.

Top Dog for 2011 is Hadranensis Remo owned by Jane Moore & Michelle Farleigh. Top Puppy will be decided after LKA. So far it is Anharbn Pretty In Pink but as she is no longer a puppy, LKA will change this to become a possible joint win.

Top Breeder for the fourth year running is Jill Morris, ANHARBN.
